We have a constant awareness of our reliance on God here and, along with that, our need for your prayers to join us – and sometimes to even carry us along. We are an extension of your ministry here in Europe and if we are going to be effective for the Kingdom of God then we must join our hearts together in prayer. Thank you for your faithfulness.
Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for the Czech Wesleyan Church in Brno and the church plant just getting started in Prague. Their leaders need much wisdom as they look for vision and strategy for the Czech Republic. And pray especially for Pastor Ivo (Brno) as he continues to grow through his studies.
2. Pray for Josh and Abby as they attend the Czech elementary school in our town. They both are off to great starts, but there is still so much of the language to learn.
3. Pray that the upcoming Polish Wesleyan Church Conference would be a great time of celebration and moving forward in God’s Kingdom work there. Pray for wisdom as this young church makes decisions about leadership and direction for the coming years.
4. Pray for Matt’s upcoming trip to the States (October 2-14). This has become such a key time for refreshing the soul and resourcing the mind.
5. Pray for the future ministry opportunities that are opening in our community, the kids’ school, and among the national church leaders. The goal is not to do everything, but to do well what we invest into.
Answers To Prayer (Praise God!):
* The kids are off to a great start to the school year in their new school. Already they are making friends!
* We got our visas renewed! Each time is an interesting journey of bureaucracy and seeing the Lord give His favor in such practical, down-to-earth ways.
* The summer was full of travel and visits, but also full of God’s protection, encouragement, and help in understanding more of how to help our fields in Europe. God is really clarifying some important next steps for the churches here.
* Again, so many of you have contacted us and reached out in caring ways to support our family. Thank you for being an extension of God's blessing in our lives. THANK YOU!!
Thanks for your time and prayers. Check in from time to time, because as time goes on and God continues to move, the needs listed will change. Our reliance on Him won't though. He is our sustainer and provider for each day.
Please let us know how we can be praying with you as well. Crystal and I count it a huge privilege to be a part of your lives. We want to be a blessing to you also. And as your sister and brother in Christ, we will be lifting you to our Lord. Please let us be your partners in God's work in/through you too!
