"And
God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at
all times, having all that you need, you will about in every good work."
- 2 Corinthians 9:8
Greetings from our family
in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
We appreciate
you taking a few minutes of your time today to come and visit us here
at the site. Look around. Get to know us a little better, or hear what
God has been doing. Glance at what's coming up in the near future and
how you can be praying with us about the ministries.
Our desire
is to make this a place where we can meet every now and then and, even
though there are thousands of miles separating us, be able to effectively
partner together in reaching out with God's love to our world. You will
have the chance to read and see what is happening through Global
Partners (formerly Wesleyan World Missions) in Europe. And hopefully
that will be inspiring and challenging to your own spiritual life. But
we also want you to be in touch with us, when you've got a free moment,
to let us hear your journey with God and/or how we might could pray for
you.
Any true partnership
carries with it a level of interdependency. The development and training
of leaders in churches across Europe and the effectiveness of our family
in accomplishing these God-sized tasks is very much dependent on your
involvement - praying and sacrificing as God leads. But we also want you
to know that we are your partners as well, communicating and praying with
you, trusting God with you that your walk with our Lord will grow and
the ministries of love and grace He has given you will also flourish.
The verse
at the top is both our verse of promise as we go and our testimony of
God's faithfulness. The grace of God has transformed our lives and is
continuing to mold us into His likeness. We know that His presence will
never leave us. But we also recognize that this gracious work in our lives
comes with a purpose. We are called to "abound in every good work."
God provides when He opens the doors of ministry. We are preparing to
leave for Europe in January, but the 'good work' is a thing of today.
Is God's grace working in your life? If so, then be sure it is also working
it's way out.
We may never
be able to adequately express our thankfulness to those of you who are
partnering with us. And only eternity will reveal the impact of your faithfulness.
But please know that our hearts are humbled and greatly encouraged by
you. We thank God for you daily. May He bless you with the awareness of
His loving presence even now and empower you by His Spirit for a day filled
with His love.
In
Christ,
Matthew, Crystal, Joshua, & Abigail
